Remembering the ceremony to install the newly reprinted Book of Rememberance & Police Roll of Honour into the National Police Memorial part of the article pays tribute to Police Constable James Armstrong of the Derwent Division (now Cumbria Police) who died on duty in 1847.
The Trust were honoured and proud to erect our memorial plaque to the officer’s memory at The Royal Hotel, Dockray, Cumbria in 2018.
