DC Jim Porter’s memorial plaque was originally unveiled at Durham Constabulary’s headquarters in Durham on March 4th 2022.
The memorial was relocated to it’s final resting place at the entrance to Porter Gardens, Tindale Crescent, Woodhouses, Bishop Auckland, County Durham, DL14 8TF on July 22nd, 2022.
