Today we unveiled our memorial to PS David Thomas Winter of North Yorkshire Police to the left of The Royal Oak Public House, Old Malton.
PS Winter received a report of a suspicious man and was confronted by the killer of PC David Haigh and shot dead.
David was just thirty one years of age.

Today we unveiled our memorial to PC David Ian Haigh of North Yorkshire Police at Norwood Edge Car Park, Stainburn Forest, North Yorkshire.
PC Haigh was sent to arrest a known petty criminal sleeping rough. Instead he found a hardened criminal asleep in his car, who fatally shot him on the side of the road.
David was just twenty nine years of age.

Today we unveiled our memorial to PC John William Kew of West Riding Constabulary in Kew Court, Swinton, Mexborough.
PC Kew was shot twice by a local resident while making routine enquiries.
John was only thirty years of age.

DC Jim Porter’s memorial plaque was originally unveiled at Durham Constabulary’s headquarters in Durham on March 4th 2022.
The memorial was relocated to it’s final resting place at the entrance to Porter Gardens, Tindale Crescent, Woodhouses, Bishop Auckland, County Durham, DL14 8TF on July 22nd, 2022.
